Yep, that was me, I'm afraid. The problem was not Linux-related, but a 
general hardware failure of the audio decoder, at least that's what I 
was told when handing the device back for repair. I'm, however, quite 
sure that this was a single incidence and no indication for a general 
problem with the device.
