Wim:

You need tda9887 loaded in your system. The log you posted shows that it
isn't present and your detected tuner type definitely should have a
TDA9887 demodulator nearby. Recent changes in the driver now require this
module; see http://www.isely.net/pvrusb2-tda9887.html for the full story.
The requirement for tda9887 started with the 20051226 snapshot, see the
change history.

A few days ago I did a cleanup of the pvrusb2 web pages to reflect new
general knowledge involving tda9887. If you load
http://www.isely.net/pvrusb2.html and search for "tda9887" you'll find the
new information and that will eventually lead you to the additional page
which discusses it.

I believe I also posted a warning in announcing the 20051226 snapshot that
you might need tda9887 loaded in order for things to continue working. I
don't know what else I could have done to raise that red flag for people.
Sorry it's causing you trouble :-(

   -Mike
