I run Mepis 6, kernel version 2.6.15-27-386

'lsusb' shows:

when i try to run the device using: 'mplayer /dev/video0', The red light
on the PVR comes on, and I get this output:

And it just hangs there forever. When I hit CTRL-C, It exits with:

---------------
MPlayer interrupted by signal 2 in module: enable_cache
---------------

Ive looked through the FAQ, and have searched via Google, and have found
you can specify a -nocache option in mplayer. When I do this, the red
light on the PVR comes on, and I get the following output:

---------------

Again, it just sits there, the mplayer window never opens. (It also
never opens in the above scenerio)

When I CTRL-C, it reports:

---------------
MPlayer interrupted by signal 2 in module: demux_open
---------------

I'm not sure what I need to do. I've tried many other TV apps (TvTime,
KDETV, kplayer) and they all have issues, so I'm inclined to think it's
something with the driver install, and not so much a particular application.

Does anyone have any suggestions, as to how I can get this working?

Thanks!

CJ
