Also, have you verified that the same setup works in 2.6.26 or 2.6.25?  
One thought is that the FX2 firmware is corrupt (but honestly I think 
this to be unlikely and even if it were I don't think it's possible for 
the firmware to screw up the host's USB core).  But if you can verify 
that the same setup (with the same firmware) works in 2.6.25 or 2.6.26 
then we'll know the problem is specific to 2.6.27 and not some other 
cause.
