[pvrusb2] audio_mode Lang1

I'm not sure when, I started to have some weird problem with my pvrusb2.
I'm recording from the composite input, and I noticed every now and then 
the pvrusb2 would decide to have no sound (with the soap that this tuner 
records, of course, should not be required, but my wife seems to think 
there is some content in there, sigh....)

Anyway, after moving the tuner to a new box, and same thing (went with 
kubuntu 8.10 in this new one).
Testing with v4lctl, I found the system is somehow setting 
ctl_audio_mode to Lang1.
If I set via /sys to Stereo, it start recording again the sound, but 
seems this is being reset every time a new recording is started.
(weird enough, I did load the module with ctlchg=0 to see if it stop, 
but doesn't seem to help, so I have a cron job resetting it just while I 
can't find the culprit).

Seems this may be msp3400 related (and so, outside the pvrusb2 really), 
but just checking in the list :-)..
