You have to undo the workaround you put in for an earlier deadlock in pvrusb2 driver because of USB related changes i.e. you don't need to pass initusbreset option to the driver anymore. Mike just removed it

Subject: [pvrusb2] pvrusb2: Unknown parameter `initusbreset'

I have been using Mythbuntu since 7.10 with PVR USB2 and all has been well. I upgraded to 8.10 when it came out and all was well.

A few weeks ago the weekly updates updated the kernel from 2.6.27-7 to 2.6.27-8. This broke my wireless nic and my PVRUSB2 setup. I changed grub to boot with the -7 kernel and got working again. Today the update changed the kernel to 2.6.27-10 and broke the PVRUSB2 driver again for me. My wireless NIC works this time so rather than roll back I would like to try to fix it this time to avoid this cycle. :-)

All I see when I grep dmesg for pvr is the line: pvrusb2: Unknown parameter `initusbreset'

Any idea where I should go from here?

Geoff
