Just to let everyone know what happened with this...

After followup e-mail exchange with dhimiter, it became clear that he 
had signed up on facebook and basically did something that caused 
facebook's site to send an announcement to everyone in his addressbook, 
which included this list.  The post was let through because the mailing 
list software recognized the underlying subscriber (probably because 
facebook had used his gmail address for a reply-to header).  Letting 
facebook do that was mistake and it's understood now.

Also, since the facebook site should NEVER have any reason to post 
e-mail on this list, I've modified the list configuration to reject any 
post attempts originating from the facebook.com domain.  That should 
hopefully prevent anyone in the future from committing the same error.
