[pvrusb2] IR receiver vs transmitter

I have searched through the archives trying to find if the IR 
transmitter works or not. I find information about IR issues, but it 
isn't clear if it is the transmitter or received. I *believe* the mails 
are talking about the receiver.

Does anyone have the transmitter working?
