[pvrusb2] recent problem: getting frontend status failed - more info

Hello,
I've plugged the tuner into another computer, with jessie/sid installed
(jessie/testing system with sid backports). Then tried to configure
mythtv, but I can't get past the channel scan. This is what the kernel
reports:
