[pvrusb2] error loading firmware

Hello,

I get an error loading the firmware , and no 
/sys/class/pvrusb2 subdirectories  :

Kernel is 2.6.13.4 with 0.8-mci (10-Nov-2005) snapshot.
any specific place the files pvrusb2.f* should be located (I have them
now in /lib/modules like where ivtv expects to find firmware files)?
Or is this another error.
