So far, so good with the old hardware.

I don't use xawtv, so I can't look at that, but both
	mplayer /dev/video0
and
	cat /dev/video0 | kaffeine stdin:/
are working fine for me.  Kaffeine still can't play /dev/video0 directly, but 
since it couldn't before, I don't consider that a regression.
