Ok. Nothing driver related here. I have made a apt-get dist-upgrade (my sid is
almost always up to date) and  the problem is not here anymore. I do suspect a
too large audio buffer size set per defaut. Corrected by kaffeine and xine
updates. Sorry for the noise.
