One trick I use to find a config switch in xconfig is to locate another
module that I know is a dependency of what I'm looking for. Then I check
that module's reverse dependencies and I can locate the switch I want to
find.

In the case of pvrusb2, cx2341x is a dependency. So I found that and
searched its reverse dependencies, and pvrusb2 is not in the list. It
appears to be just simply missing.

I also just noticed something else. When I ran xconfig, it tried to turn
on a whole pile of options corresponding to the kernel I'm currently
running (2.6.17.6). And I got a long list of warnings about switches that
are missing...

I think there's been some kind of foul-up.
