There's precious little information here that might suggest what is 
going on in the driver.  As suggested in another reply by Bernhard - is 
the driver even loaded?  (Do lsmod and look for 'pvrusb2' in the 
output.)  Second, if it is loaded, did it get associated with your 
device?  Look at dmesg and search for pvrusb2-related messages.
