The FM tuner chip make/model?  Forgive me if it is the cx25840 chip
being used for FM tuning.

My guess, since VHF is technically FM (or vice-versa), it's using the
same tuning chip as the analog VHF tuner.

I was curious on doing some muddling around with this to see what I can
find. :-)
