Uh, that would be "echo 12345 >/sys/modules/pvrusb2/parameters/debug" not 
"cat".  I haven't had my morning soda yet.  Also that path might not be 
exactly correct; I'm just guessing but you should be able to quickly 
deduce it with a little exploring.  The "12345" is a bit mask.  The bit 
mask bit definitions can be found in pvrusb2-debug.h.  This entire thing
